Had a little ice and snow practice today. Going around with crampons and an ice pick. How to walk in a rope and what to do when someone in the rope falls. Also self-rescue when falling. Also using a jumar. Too bad the ascents were short and not very steep, but it was a beginning. And it will be handy when I’m on the glaciers.
